Process Automation and Controls Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Automation & Controls Engineer to contribute to industrial process automation projects. This role offers the opportunity to design and implement control systems that ensure safe and efficient industrial operations within a leading global company specializing in industrial gases and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and program PLC control systems using ladder logic
- Develop intuitive Human-Machine Interface screens for operator interaction
- Commission new automation systems and troubleshoot operational issues
- Interpret and implement electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Perform field wiring and integration of industrial devices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering
- 2-5 years of industrial automation or process controls experience
- Proficiency in PLC programming (RSLogix or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and control wiring
- Ability to work in both office and industrial field environments
Desirable skills
- Experience with Rockwell Automation platforms
- Familiarity with EtherNet/IP and Modbus communication protocols
- HMI development using FactoryTalk View
- Manufacturing or process control internship experience
- Self-management and responsive problem-solving abilities
