This Field Engineer II position offers a leadership role in industrial electrical construction projects, providing opportunities to oversee both field and office engineering operations while developing professional expertise within a premier electrical contracting organization.
Responsibilities
- Interpret drawings and specifications for field crews
- Perform quantity calculations and material measurements
- Prepare work plans, packages, and job hazard analyses
- Conduct field surveying and work layout support
- Supervise work groups and coordinate project activities
- Complete material takeoffs and engineering calculations
- Manage project documentation including RFIs and daily reports
- Assist with estimating and bid preparation
Requirements
- 3+ years of construction field experience
- Undergraduate degree in engineering or construction management
- Ability to read and analyze engineering plans and specifications
- Capacity to access all construction site areas in various environments
- Strong commitment to safety and ethical practices
- Willingness to travel and relocate as needed
