The Swinburne Welcome Scholarships aim to facilitate access to tertiary education for individuals in Australia under specific humanitarian visa categories,providing financial support to undertake undergraduate studies.

• Enroll and maintain studies as a full-time commencing student.
• Actively engage and participate in the academic program.
• Demonstrate a commitment to community contribution, both past and future, as outlined in the application.

• Hold one of the specified visas: Bridging Visa 'E' (V050), Temporary Protection Visa (V785), Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (V790), or Temporary Humanitarian Concern Visa (V786).
• Submit a separate application for an eligible course at Swinburne University.
• Be a commencing first-year student in the 2026 academic year.

• Preference is given to applicants who have previously completed a Vocational Education program at Swinburne University.
• Demonstrated history of community involvement and leadership potential.

• The scholarship provides a full tuition fee waiver.
• For some Vocational Education students, material fees are also covered.
• Holders of TPV or SHEV visas enrolled in longer courses may be eligible for an annual stipend of up to AUD $7,500.
• Recipients must be aware that enrolment may affect eligibility for government income support and are required to secure alternative financial means
